Arriving by plane
Many big European companies fly to Budapest, but also low-cost airlines like Ryanair, Wizz Air, EasyJet, German Wings, Air Berlin or Jet2.com.

You can reach Budapest easily for less than 100 €. From the recently renamed Ferenc Liszt Airport there are several options to get into the city: you can get the official Fő Taxi which costs about 6500 HUF or 22 € downtown. The Airport Minibus is a shared taxi which takes you from 3200 HUF or 11 € per person to your destination (Wi-Fi included!). You can also take the public bus 200E until the last stop "Kőbánya-Kispest", change to metro line 3, and get off at Deák Ferenc tér, if you want to continue with other metro, tram or bus lines. Buy at least 2 tickets from the BKK stand (Budapest Transport Company) by the exit, because you need to validate one each time you use a new line.
