Religious Sites

The biggest Catholic church of the city, St. Stephen's Basilica, took 54 years to build and can seat up to 8000 people. The largest synagogue of Europe, built in Moorish style, has an exquisite interior, and even includes a cemetery.

Other remarkable features are the Jewish museum and the Tree of Life, a powerful Holocaust monument. One of the most northern sanctuaries of the Islam, the Gül Baba's Tomb, and some Greek Orthodox churches are all located in Budapest.
